Come to the Art Gallery at NWA Mall Saturday, September 2 from 2:30-4:30pm for a free watercolor class. All levels of skill welcome and no drawing skills required! Age 12 and up. Children under 16 are required to be accompanied during class by an adult.
This class will focus techniques that are unique to watercolor. You will learn brushwork and techniques that create effects like no other art medium. You will also learn how to set up your art workspace, prepare the paper and paints for painting. Watch a demo on watercolor techniques and see examples of how to use that technique in paintings. Then create your own paintings under the guidance of Gallery Artist Diane Stinebaugh. Diane has been painting and teaching painting watercolor for over 20 years.
All supplies are provided by the Art Gallery. You are also welcome to bring your own.
